Everyone, I’ve found a way to have AI accurately verify PCBs. To cut to the chase: you can enable the AI to access the full schematic view—which requires providing it with an interface—and feed it the netlist to perform cross-verification. While a netlist shows pin connections,

GPT6 Astra, which is all the rage right now, still has plenty of shortcomings. It still makes mistakes when reviewing complex circuit schematics. If it had to rely on direct visual recognition, that would obviously be a tall order—but the thing is, I gave it a netlist file.

It could be down to how I phrased things, or how it interpreted them. Either way, I’ve found that using AI for PCB-related work tends to be much harder than developing other kinds of projects.
