I have a theory that since weāre seeing a rise in people going to therapy, breaking trauma cycles, gentle parenting, prolonging marriage/kids, leaving toxic jobs, negotiating higher salaries- that other people are going to get meaner. Weāre already kind of seeing it.
@d_la_reina Mmmmmm, this is so good cause it's right! Healed people just aren't putting up with a lot of the nonsense they were before.
@SelimaTate You live your best life with your spouse and drive your dream car, raise your children without traumatizing them and make $200k and live in your 3 bedroom home- here comes SOMEONE SOMEWHERE talking about āheās going to leave you and your kids are bad!ā
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate They're not just even talking - some are taking action to ensure it happensš
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate Growth in relationships is a journey that doesnāt really end. There are just twists and bends along the way. Iām on like my third bend lol.
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate This is so true. This is why I donāt get along with most of my family. They arenāt happy with their lives but wonāt do anything to change them & resent that I have changed mine. Itās sad and an ugly situation.
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate lmaooo this is so true š Iāll never forget that lady having coffee with her husband in peace and people were BIG MAD š
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate Yup! I noticed the rise of people feeling the need to scrutinize people unprovoked. It's giving bitter energy.
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate āHeās overcompensating for somethingā
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate and I had to check myself on this bc I struggle w/ depression nd just being miserable sometimes I noticed that mindset did jump out socially - can't be happy for someone because of "red flags" when they really just told you to share with you not rain on their parade
@d_la_reina @SelimaTate yes to this!!! having your wants and needs met and it not having to be picked apart & be a setup for trauma. amen.
