Day 13 posting It’s been an interesting journey just to start sketching again after so many years…I can feel the artist aspect of my mind slowly coming alive again Drawings from days 28 & 29
4am wake up, 11 mile run with a longtime friend…just chilling this Saturday…
Day 12 post. Drawings from day 26 & 27. Seth Godin talks about showing up. In many ways his blog (which he writes daily and has for years) serves as inspiration to post here. It feels good to show up, thanks @SethGodinBlog
Day 11 post The key is just to show up. Grateful for another day. Sketch prompts for the beginning, days 2 & 3 of a year long journey…
Day 10 post Happy to finally be on the journey Sketches from Day 24 & 25 of my year of daily drawing.
Day 9 sketch post. Years. Literal years went by without my creating a thing. I bought into the idea that if it wasn’t a grand work it wasn’t worth doing. I was wrong. 5 minutes a day is better than years going by… Images are from days 22 & 23 in my year of sketching prompts
Day 8 sketch post… Am now 57 days into my drawing journey…some of these are simple, some rock me for sure. It’s just about the process and consistency. Have an amazing week!
Day 7 post The sketch prompts in this book can be seriously challenging at times…these are from days 16 & 17…it’s good to draw again after being away for more than a decade…
Day 6 of posting…these sketches are from days 14 & 15…words do little to describe how humbling this process has been…and yet necessary. Don’t despise small beginnings. 1% better with every post. @seancannell
Day 5 of posting…today’s sketches come from Days 10 & 11…routinely this sketchbook asks me to draw things way outside of my comfort zone…it’s equally embarrassing and important to post them…have a beautiful weekend
Day 4 of posting my year long sketchbook journey…the sketches are from days 18 & 19… one thing has become infinitely apparent to me already. I waited way too long to start. If that’s you and you’re ready this, Go Start what’s on your heart to make.
Day 3 of posting…these two prompts were from days 6 &7. It has been truly humbling to start drawing again after years of being away…I’m currently working on day 52…each drawing is done in about 5 minutes
