Surnames have lost their meaning long ago, a Dalit Muslim like me can use Vaidya, Iyer, Kaul etc. or more so, western surnames that dwell well with the Caucasian origins of my community like; Goebells, Lehmann, Dubois, Ferrari, Esposito etc.
