@AY_ZED_ Micropython might be easiest to write (I prefer micropython) but the difference in libraries available on c++ and micropython is staggering u might need to rewrite a library that’s already on C++ or look for an obscure library on GitHub written by a dev 5 years ago 😂
I think the real reason is bulbs/TVs need PCB manufacturing,raw materials, and expensive single purpose machines to make from scratch. Whereas a drone or toy can be built almost entirely from off-the-shelf parts + open-source algorithms. Though speakers can easily be manufactured
Most physical tech startup in Nigeria are always trying to build white elephant projects, like drones, electric toys and others. While all these are fine, if we are looking to turn these things to businesses, we should be looking at what people can buy like speaker, light bulbs
@osasinrobotics There are a lot of resources on YouTube to learn PCB design, I watched videos by two creators (Made by Morten and Tech exploration) on YouTube when I was learning KiCAD

@_successakanbi I totally agree But I think the root cause is Nigerian investors/business owners don’t want to invest in manufacturing. And also not enough skilled machinists or manufacturing experts The truth is there’s serious money in manufacturing it’s just slow money.
Been working on a project for a while, coming together ok. Also my first time working with a stripboard, perfboards have been my default so it looks a bit messy. Don't like how the controller came out, but functionality over aesthetics till I get the hang of stripboards wiring.

Friend needed a rotary inverted pendulum. Modded an open-source STL in Fusion 360 to fit his motor. Needed a counterweight, so I modeled a 2.1mm cavity, paused the print, and embedded a coin. The print itself is the fastener! Custom parts? damzatechnologies.com
