First tabled and adopted in 2010, confirmed as a transportation improvement priority in 2020, work isn't scheduled to begin until 2028 or 2029 - which is ridiculous. Such crucial and needed infrastructure as roadways and transit cannot take 18 years to meaningfully start!

Fun fact: Even something as (relatively) simple as the extension of Clement Road to Hwy 33 has taken so long to move through the planning phase that someone born when it was first adopted by the city will be old enough to vote before construction is slated to begin.
@BarkJack_ Improving infrastructure here is needed more than I can say! The Trans-Canada Highway goes straight through the town of Kelowna in BC. We desperately need a ring road.

Congestion's a growing problem here in Kelowna, seeing a 10% increase in a single year from 2023-2024, almost entirely in the form of severe congestion. We need better management of our roads and revisions to the transportation plan that better prioritize how we get around!
