#gmttc3 Day 2 - the elves made 150 toys on Friday
Patricia Polacco brings her stories to life by her descriptive words and colors and details!
We have been reading Patricia Polacco the last two weeks. We love how the pictures relate to the story perfectly.
@PatriciaPolacco We read "The Art of Miss Chew" today in class. We love your books! You inspire us and we love your beautiful artwork!
We have a new student in our class. We are also almost done reading The Sign of the Beaver. We learned a lot about T Rex skeletons as well!
We tried to light a light bulb with a wire and a battery using many different ways. This was part of our electricity unit we are studying
We learned how to take responsibility for our actions.
Protons have a positive charge. Neutrons no charge and electrons a negative charge.
We learned about attract and repel. Two balloons were attracted until we rubbed them on hair then they repelled due to electrons
We are taking home our Nooks today. We used Edmodo for the first time for a spelling lesson. There are a lot of fun apps.
We all say hi to our new followers. The science experiments are awesome.
A second group used made a stick move magically while balancing on a nickel.
We used the scientific method using a cotton glove, dish soap, water, and a straw. You can bounce a bubble on a cotton glove.
We used our Nook tablets to learn about cyber bullying. We watched two videos.
We had visitors from Barnes and Noble and Nearpod to see us use our Nooks. We used a new app where we learned about Digital Citizenship.
In science today we tried to pour water into a balloon that was in a bootle. The water poured out. There was too much air in the bottle.
We got a new student teacher in our classroom today. We had a great day. We also signed an expectation contract for our classroom to follow.
