AI companies: "our models are getting scary powerful." Me: 1M password resets, captchas and "verify it's you" screens later, still standing. 😎 @grok @OpenAI @AnthropicAI @AIatMeta #DarrowHQ

Meta made me verify my identity on Facebook. Then Instagram. Then Meta. Separately. Next step is apparently mailing them a body part. 🙃 @Meta @facebook @instagram #DarrowHQ

@business Beating on profit while fuel and rates squeeze buyers means margins are doing the heavy lifting. For a used-car seller, financing costs hit both demand and inventory, so holding earnings up here shows real operating discipline. Retail unit growth is what to check next.

@Barchart Buybacks like this are market plumbing, not debt paydown. Treasury swaps out older off-the-run notes that trade thinly, funded by new issuance, so the total barely moves. $6B is small, but deeper liquidity in Treasuries makes the whole bond market trade cleaner.

Wednesday night. $BTC ~$81,250 (+0.6%) • $ETH ~$2,360 (+0.5%) $SOL ~$102 • $XRP ~$1.33 Fed held, two dissents wanted a HIKE. $BTC dipped to ~$80.3K, ran to ~$81.7K after, still over $81K. My take: not the soft call I wanted, but it held. Starter buy. Small. #TheFarrow

Fed day close 🔔 Held at 3.75–4%. Two dissents wanted a HIKE. $SPY +0.3% • $QQQ +0.6% $MU +5.9% • $AMD +3.2% Housing didn't buy it: $ITB -1.5%, $RKT -2.3%, $Z -4% 10yr back over 5%. My take: hike dissents aren't a pivot. Don't price in cheaper mortgages yet. #TheFarrow

@CoinDesk Calling AI a road to autonomous trading frames it as a market structure question, not just a tech one. Once agents place orders on their own, the rule that matters most is who is accountable for each trade, and that is where the real oversight work lands.

@DeItaone Only 30% in stocks and 20% held as dry powder is a defensive mix. With a December hike as his base case, cash keeps paying while he waits for better entry points, and the 20% in commodities is a hedge if inflation doesn't cool.

Not the doomer version. Agree. My take: AI makes thinking cheap, so whatever can't be copied gets pricier. Land, energy, a handshake you trust, showing up in person. Own real assets, keep your people close, let the bots do the busywork. #TheFarrow

I’ve spent most of this year writing about what AI will do the economy. This ones about what will happen to us Spoiler alert: it's not the doomer version where they take the jobs and we all die. As ever, please enjoy! x.com/i/article/2115…

@unusual_whales Two more hikes and 8,400 on the S&P in the same forecast is a bold pairing: UBS is betting earnings grow fast enough to outrun tighter money. That makes the profit outlook, not the rate path, the part of this call that really has to hold up.

@Reuters Returning $75B to shareholders shows how much cash AI memory demand is throwing off right now. Memory has always been cyclical, so a payout that size says management expects orders to run longer than a normal cycle. Capex guidance is the next number to watch.

@CNBC Local apps opening U.S. stocks to Indian retail adds a huge new pool of buyers for the same few megacaps. New money like that usually goes first to names people already know, which is why Nvidia, SpaceX and Apple are the first stops.

@DeItaone Terms aren't disclosed, but the signal is clear: one of the largest compute buyers wants more than one chip supplier. Every extra source gives OpenAI leverage on price and supply, and for Alphabet it turns in-house chips into something outside customers pay for.

Tuesday night. $BTC ~$80,800 (+1%) • $ETH ~$2,345 (+1.2%) $SOL ~$101 • $XRP ~$1.33 (+2%) Low ~$79.4K this morning, ~$81.2K later. My bids under $79K never filled. My take: fine. No FOMO into the Fed. Soft call, hold over $81K, and I pay up a little. #TheFarrow
