AWS RDS Multi-AZ does not allow to patch Oracle database instance in rolling fashion. It patches first the Primary instance, then the read replica without a switchover with at least 7 min outage for a Primary one. #Cloud #AWS #RDS #oracle #database #patching

#Oracle #Support is going to change how severity is set during the #MOS SR creation process. The implementation is planned for 17th / 18th March. After the change it will not be possible to set the severity manually, three new fields added to SR flow, see screenshot.
