This would consign this part of the country as a no-go zone for eternity. The new shoots of regeneration - gone. Tourism - gone. Unspoiled land - gone. It would be highly detrimental to these parts of East Yorkshire and Hull. Nuclear waste travelling through your back yards.

Took a walk along the Fruit Market in Hull last night, the area could definitely benefit from more living spaces to increase footfall and vibrancy, eg the open space around the car park on Humber Street. Wonder what is planned for this space @angus_young61

Hull will have some new 6-9 storey apartments in built in the next 10 years. There were plans for a 17 storey tower as part of Albion Sq but this has been scrapped. Interesting to see the difference between Hull and a larger city like Birmingham.

There was insane amounts of congestion this afternoon in Hull around Spring Bank. There's far too many vehicles passing through making walking, cyciling and bus journeys a nightmare. Just horrid to look at and experience.

Very disappointed that an objection to a new phone mast installation near my parents home was ignored by the council and they never responded to them @cllrmikeross @Hullccnews a very bad looks for the Lib Dems in Hull

Did they ever bother with the hanging baskets. #hull @Hullccnews it looks worse than when it was shop. There's a pattern of ugly developments and extensions being permitted in George St and Hull City centre. We should be more critical of these designs.
