An encampment under the 35W bridge on 31st Street was cleared this morning. “They came early,” an encampment resident said. “My tent was the first one.” Cement barricades fill the sidewalk where the encampment was.

Look at the map - *every* part of the @CityMinneapolis is viewed as having dangerous street designs by its residents. We don’t need all of this process to identify dangerous streets and intersections - they are all dangerous! How do we organize for more funds and faster change?

The Lyndale Ave S conversion/medians really is the feel good story of the year. ➡️ So many are using the crossings, the need was always there. ➡️ Traffic is fine. You don't actually have to sacrifice dense urban neighborhoods to deadly 4 lane roads.
