Based on what we heard today from SCOTUS, it sure feels that Trump may skate past the election without standing trial on the federal 1/6 charges. If so, NYC trial is likely the only he'll face pre-November. Under the circumstances, it's the best scenario he could hope have hoped for.
@davidaxelrod But when he loses , and he will lose , it will all be waiting for him on the other side of the election .
In this KANGAROO Court it’s seems if Trump does skate it would be poetic justice not only for him but for the nation. I’ve never been a Trumper, but there’s something very wrong with this picture by any stretch of the imagination when it comes to ferreting out the actual due process of the laws already on the books. This is a case that will go down in history as the most heinous of treatment against one person they hate. My gramps was a Harvard grad criminal attorney and judge, he would give this court hell on principle. He advised his grandchildren not to take any wooden nickels from bastards like this. Trump or any one being treated as such when nothing been proven should be exonerated. This is a travesty to our constitution and society.
@davidaxelrod Meaning, bad faith actors lose again.
@davidaxelrod Bolshevik sad he can’t Bolshevik
@davidaxelrod I guess unethical Lawfare isn’t going to work out well for you after all. Democrats will have to resort to coming up with ideas and policies that might actually improve the lives of <gasp!> American citizens.
@davidaxelrod At the risk of repeating myself, Dems can’t wait 4 any verdict to help them win. In fact, they should use the very existence of the cases in a “where there’s smoke” campaign to underscore his unfitness for office. Eric Holder said, “The cavalry isn’t coming. We’re the cavalry.”
@davidaxelrod Masks off! The reason the bribed GOP fixers posing as judges heard the most anti-constitutional case in history was to delay Smith’s Jan 6 trial so it would not hurt Trump on Nov 6! The appellate court ruling is ironclad. Trump's cronies on the bench make a mockery of justice.
