Playing with shape and texture in design is not all about the composition, observing how the building will react with different source and position of light will be much more interesting in order to result in a higher quality design. #davinlee #designbymystyle

Using natural light in design is interesting. Light can help us to shape and achieve the space's character we like. Using different kind of windows' shape and placement, we can manage how the room inside will perform according to its functions. #davinlee #designbymystyle

Finding a good composition in design is sometimes tricky, you need to know when you have put too many or too little elements in the design. I think the composition is also a personal matter, it's related to your mood at that moment. Do you think so? #davinlee #designbymystyle

COMPOSITION is not just how you combine all shapes together in harmony, we also need to consider how the functions and activities inside will integrate each other. #davinlee #designbymystyle

As an architect, we usually concern on functionality and beauty of our design. Sometimes we forgot to think about its meaning for our client or occupants of the building. would the house/building we design enhance their life and experience? #davinlee #designbymystyle

Plan your house design according to your lifestyle, spend some time to think of what is really your needs. What sort of rooms you really need? What is your routine activity? What do you enjoy spending your time most?. This will save you a lot of time and money in long-term.
