For three years, you useful idiots have been parading Palestinian flags, sporting keffiyehs, screaming “From the River to the Sea”, and recognizing a fictitious Palestinian state as a reward for Hamas’s October 7 massacre (looking at you, @EmmanuelMacron). You have boycotted the only Jewish state in the world, vilified the Jewish people’s right to self-determination (aka “Zionism”), and spread the “Gaza genocide” blood libel. Did you really think that if you fed the crocodile enough Jewish flesh, it would eventually be satiated? All you have done is embolden the monster and whet its appetite. So you were worried about “colonization”? Look around. The only thing being colonized here are our own Western cities. The Palestinian flag has become a victory banner, proudly waved amid the ruins of looted and vandalized historic buildings—a symbol of hatred for our civilization and everything it stands for. It is completely unacceptable for the The University of Sydney to allow a student political group to run for council elections under the banner, “Globalise the Intifada”. This is an explicit term calling for a violent uprising against Jews by people who have made public their support for Hamas. The Bondi Massacre last December in which 15 innocent people lost their lives is exactly what ‘Globalise the Intifada’ means for Australia. This is a line in the sand. In the face of this explicit call for violence on Australian soil our Prime Minister cannot remain on the sidelines; the NSW Premier whose heart has been in the right place on these issues cannot remain too timid; and the University of Sydney Vice Chancellor who did not do enough to protect students and staff from harassment and hate after October 7 cannot remain in denial. It’s high time for our leaders to act with the courage, moral clarity and strength our country urgently needs. There can be no if’s or but’s. This move to normalise the dangerous and deadly term ‘Globalise the Intifada’ must be stopped. After the deadliest terrorist attack in Australia’s history and with a Royal Commission into antisemitism currently underway one would think there would be no need to bring attention to this issue. But the fact there is shows how much more work we all need to do to become more cohesive as a society and how much better our leaders need to be at upholding their first and fundamental duty to all citizens, keeping us safe.

Yesterday, a film accusing Israel of genocide premiered. It’s a horrific blood libel against our sons and daughters. What makes it especially painful and infuriating is that this lie comes from Israeli filmmakers and is now being spread around the world. Let’s get the facts straight: On October 7th, Hamas invaded Israel to murder Jews. Hamas terrorists slaughtered children in front of their parents and parents in front of their children. They burned homes, raped women, and kidnapped babies, children and elderly people. Then Hamas fled back to Gaza and deliberately hid behind its own civilians, using them as human shields in homes, schools, and hospitals. And when Israel fights back, and civilians are tragically killed in this terrible war, Israel is accused of “genocide.” There is no magic button that can destroy Hamas, or any terrorist organization hiding behind civilians, without harming a single civilian. It simply does not exist. In interviews with the international media, I always ask: “What would you do?” They never have an answer. If Israel wanted to hurt the people of Gaza, we would not send our sons and daughters to fight house to house, through alleyways and tunnels, at the terrible cost of our own soldiers being killed and wounded. We would not warn civilians before strikes and evacuate them from combat zones. We would not help vaccinate hundreds of thousands of children in Gaza against polio. The war in Gaza is terrible. The death of every child is a tragedy. But a terrible war is not genocide. Even now, Hamas doesn’t regret October 7th. It’s rearming and waiting for another opportunity to carry out a massacre. The people standing between us and that next massacre are our soldiers and reservists. Our sons and daughters who put their lives at risk so that we can live here safely. I love them. I am proud of them. And I am deeply grateful to them. To portray them as perpetrators of “genocide” is not courageous art. It is a cowardly blood libel. And I will not remain silent.

Israel’s facilitation of Aid into Gaza has exceeded the needs of the population and surpassed the requirements of international law.
