In user interface design, the trend to increase space between elements. Readability is increased but less data can be seen at a glance without scrolling. Regarding productivity software, I prefer it dense. What about you? #uidesign #ux

Engines are the magic that allows us to create games. Are you curious to get started in game development too? Godot Engine 4.0 was just released. I encourage you to give it a try. There is a lot of documentation to get started fast. #godotengine

Free-to-play games are like arcade machines. You pay for a virtual coin, and insert it somewhere to improve your experience for a limited time. In addition, you provide the arcade cabinet yourself and surrender the keys to the coin door.

#Gamejam beginners : Need to make a basic top-down player movement, Pong ball or whatever quite basic that moves in a linear fashion? Do not use the physics engine for that. Code it yourself. Trust me, you'll get less bugs fighting against the corner cases. 😉

#Berlin would be a great backdrop for a Super Mario level. If you ever get there, you may notice those colorful blue or purple pipes that are temporarily set in the air along city streets. The assembly of those pipes has some aesthetic originality.

#GodotEngine tech tip. 🕹️🎮 Joypad is missing buttons in your game or weirdly mapped although your OS joystick test shows that all works? SDL2 Gamepad Tool + Input.add_joy_mapping() take you out of trouble 😉 Clue: Godot 3.1 uses 2.0.5 GameControllerDB mappings.
