Boomers fell for a Ponzi scheme and now they want to make sure everyone else has to pay for it. End social security.

Harsh truth is the vast majority of boomers would be jobless, homeless, and sexless if they were in their 20s today. Our country was once so great that extremely average men could become wealthy just by showing up. Unfortunately they are unable to understand this. It’s their per capita.

I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.

Imagine telling someone in 1970 that by 2026 you’d need six figures just to buy a modest house in many places. They’d be shocked—until you explained 56 years of inflation. Now imagine telling them something stranger: that the federal government would eventually spend more than $7 trillion a year, carry more than $40 trillion in debt, and that housing, healthcare, and higher education—three areas subjected to enormous government spending, subsidies, regulation, and intervention—would still be among the biggest affordability complaints. But perhaps most shocking would be telling them that after all that spending, debt, and rising costs, the central planners never lost faith in their policies. Every failure merely became evidence that they hadn’t intervened enough. Government became vastly more expensive while promising to make life less expensive—and somehow the prescription remained more government.

Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s when millions of immigrants flooded our shores, no paperwork was required to immigrate. No passports, visas, or work permits. Anyone who could afford a ticket could board a ship, arrive in America, answer a few basic questions, and be on their way. They could stay as long as they wanted, work wherever they wanted, buy property, start businesses, and basically do anything any American citizen could do. In fact, in most states, they could legally vote in local, state, and even national elections, subject to the same poll tax, literacy test, or other qualifications required of American citizens. If they wanted to naturalize, they just needed to register their intent and were given seven years to complete the paperwork necessary to become American citizens, which millions of immigrants were proud to do. Things began to change in the 1930s with the advent of social security numbers, and then more so with the Alien Registration Act of 1940, signed into law as a WWII security measure. When the war ended, instead of being repealed, in 1946 it evolved into what we now call Green Cards. In effect, we had completely open borders and the country thrived. In fact, during the decades we now call the Gilded Age—the high-growth period that Donald Trump claims he wants to emulate—our borders were wide open. The reason this worked so well is that we had no welfare state. People came to America for freedom and opportunity only. They came to contribute to our economy, not live off it. They did not drain our resources; they added to them. The lesson is that immigration is not the problem. The problem is the welfare state. Shut off that magnet and America will no longer attract people looking for free stuff. In fact, we need to turn off that magnet for everyone, so those who are looking for free stuff will leave to seek it out someplace else.

Read this Fauci diary entry closely. Officials refused to admit the vaccine wasn’t stopping the spread because it might weaken the legal case for mandates. That is not science. It is a cover-up to justify coercion.

Every American who watched the legacy media cover COVID owes it to themselves to read Fauci's own diary. It reads less like a public health record and more like a group chat between Fauci and the anchors who were supposedly holding him accountable. They had dinners during quarantine, texts calling Fauci the better man, and an anchor thanking him for dodging a hard question. Meanwhile, CNN and ABC have gone almost completely silent on their own reporters' role in this.
