An Iowa woman moved to South Dakota to single-handedly save 950 acres of native prairie. Her name is Tracy Rosenberg. She grew up on an Iowa farm in a state that had once been 85% Northern Tallgrass Prairie. By the time she graduated high school, that number was down to one-tenth of one percent. She spent 35 years in Des Moines. A divorce forced the sale of the small farm she'd been planning to convert. She started looking for native prairie to buy in Iowa, but there wasn't any left to find. Then she read a 2012 Star Tribune article about prairie conservation that mentioned Pete Bauman, an ecologist with the Nature Conservancy working in the Dakotas. She emailed him. Within an hour, he wrote back and told her that the Benedictine monks at Blue Cloud Abbey near Marvin, South Dakota, were closing and selling their land, including some of the last unplowed native sod in the state. So she packed up and moved to a place she had never been. In 2013, Tracy bought almost 1,000 acres of virgin tallgrass prairie. She named it Abbey Grasslands of the Prairie Coteau. Then she got to work with prescribed burns, intensive rotational grazing, and integrated pest management. She's spent the last 13 years restoring degraded sections and protecting the intact ones. The federally threatened Dakota Skipper butterfly, gone from most of its historic range, has been documented on her land. Tracy received the USDA NRCS Earth Team Individual Award and was named Conservationist of the Year by the National Organization of Professional Women. She gives talks at national prairie conferences, hosts educational tours for ranchers and tribal college students, and runs the property as a working classroom. Less than 4% of America's tallgrass prairie remains. The nearly 1,000 acres Tracy is protecting is some of it.

Here are the facts: March 9, 2020 - Governor Mike DeWine declared a statewide emergency and issued EO 2020-01D with only a few confirmed cases, that ordered closures from March 12 - 15. Acton, who was appointed February 26, 2019, issues a stay at home order March 23, 2020 under the policies and directive of Mike DeWine. DeWine stated, "I am the elected official.. I set the policy... the buck stops here." The Ohio Covid-19 Response Team had been created (Corona Task Force); the primary advisor was Lt. Governor Jon Husted. Around this time, Vivek Ramaswamy described himself as "a private sector advisor working with Jon Husted" and regularly joined DeWine and Acton at daily briefings. Vivek personally supported vaccines, and masks. June 11, 2020 - Acton suddenly resigned as Director of the Ohio Department of Health, stating the primary reason was intense pressure - including from legislators and interests tied to DeWine - to sign health orders she believed lacked scientific support and could violate her Hippocratic Oath (do no harm). Vivek Ramaswamy has refused to give details on his policy recommendations, while on the Ohio Covid Team. Information has emerged, citing Vivek for creating a National Covid-19 registry under his company Datavant, pooling patient records to segregate people by their vaccine status. Datavant partnered with the NIH funded - National COVID Cohort Collaborative - providing record linkage technology for data to support "research" for the pandemic response; allowing those with immunity to "get back to normal life." May 2023, Forbes reported Vivek Ramaswamy paid the Wikipedia Editor to scrub his work on Ohio's Covid Response Team from his page, prior to his Presidential run. March 2025, Vivek's company Riovant and its subsidiary Genevant, announced a $2.25 billion global settlement with Moderna for unauthorized use of their lipid nanoparticle mRNA technology use in SpikeVax. Genevant says it played a fundamental role in the pandemic response (mRNA Vaccines). Ramaswamy's wealth increased $176 million in 2020. It's your personal responsibility to use your discernment, as to who will be the most damaging to Ohio with the legislative powers in the statehouse - going forward. Who is the most ill-intended.

President Trump and Congress should build on the legacy of the Great American Outdoors Act to bolster and restore our national parks. We cannot afford to defund an underfunded agency, putting iconic landscapes at risk.

The Federal Government Isn't Coming to Save Ohio from Data Centers. In 2022, Anne Vogel was appointed Director of the Ohio Environmental Agency (EPA), by Governor DeWine. Just prior she was serving as his Policy Director, former attorney, lobbyist for AEP ‼️ and worked for AEP for over a decade - including as managing director of federal governmental affairs. In February 2023, Vogel oversaw the train derailment in East Palestine Ohio - who with DeWine made the decision to detonate the derailed train cars filled with vinyl chloride to avoid "catastrophic failure" due to rising temperatures (self detonation). NSTB called her "vent-and-burn" decision which caused a plume of toxic gas to migrate across Ohio "misguided" and "unnecessary" as they determined the temperatures had already regulated. During the investigation, they found Vogel was taking instruction directly from Norfolk Southern, and later defended the decision as to prevent a "more dangerous explosion." In April 2025, Vogel was appointed by Trump Administration, to serve as the Regional Administrator for Ohio EPA Region 5 - which covers 6 states: OH, IL, IN, MI, MN, WI. Vogel's new role specifically involves the data center boom, with the core agenda to "Make the United States the Artificial Intelligence Capital of the World" - and includes "permitting reform" to ensure there is no delay in building critical infrastructure for data centers. John Logue, the current Ohio EPA Director appointed by Mike DeWine and in lockstep with Anne Vogel, is pushing to lift data center wastewater runoff regulations - into Lake Erie, the Ohio River, and other Ohio waterways. Logue's environmental experience: NONE. John Logue was the Administrator and CEO of Ohio Bureau of Workman's Compensation. No environmental experience, or education. Under Logue, the Ohio EPA has proposed a new general permit that would allow data centers to discharge their wastewater and "OTHER WATERS" directly into state waterways, including Lake Erie and the Ohio River. This proposal is to fast-track data center construction by simplifying the permitting process for their massive water discharge needs. What's in the water? Biocides, corrosion inhibitors, phosphates, antifreeze, heavy metals, pfas plastics, and thermal pollution for super heated water disrupting the O2 in the ecosystems causing die off. Logue claims he's under public and federal pressure, and claims the move "cuts red tape" for business, environmental groups and some federal frameworks. Innocent enough? Let's get into it. • 217 Data Centers in Ohio • Ohio is ranked 5th in the nation for the number of Data Centers • Top Developers: Google, Amazon, Meta • Existing Data Centers have increased energy costs by 10-15% per Ohio household. • Developers are given local property tax exemptions of 75% for 15 to 30 years , totaling $2.5 billion - $120 million annually. • Surge in energy consumption strains the existing power grid, resulting in billions of dollars of taxpayer funded infrastructure upgrades (IE: Perry Nuclear Plant). • Rapid data center expansion is drastically consuming farmland, resulting in the decline in Ohio farm industry. • Data Center expansion is driving up the cost of surrounding land, desperately needed for housing development. • Environmental concerns: massive water consumption for cooling, and wastewater contamination into lakes and streams including Lake Erie and the Ohio River. Chemicals: PFAS and f-gas. These are all current facts and statistics. They are destroying our beautiful state. The corrupt Ohio GOP continues to sell out Ohio. If Ramaswamy and McColley are elected, he will drag every tech company (foreign included) to Ohio. Save Ohio. Vote wisely for our children.

Very long rant, sorry, again. The son of the owner, CEO, and president of the Reds stood in front of Reds fans piss drunk on Opening Day 2022 just weeks after selling off the best players on a team that just missed the playoffs and said “Well, where ya gonna go?” In response to a prominent Cincinnati radio host (@MoEgger) asking him why Reds fans should have faith in this ownership group. Seriously, that’s not made up. That happened. On opening day, in front of 100s of thousands of people, live on Cincinnati’s #1 radio station, he said that and felt zero shame. He later appeared on a local news channel after the game (looking absolutely buckled) and doubled down on the quote. Our president of baseball operations got up in front of everyone and said their goal is to “eliminate PEAKS and valleys.” That’s real! He said that! What they are doing is intentional. Winning 78-84 games is intentional. So intentional they have mastered how to do it. They have mastered how to hang around in the hunt, never truly in it to be buyers. Never truly out of it to be sellers. Just in it enough to where no national attention or scrutiny will ever come of it. So this is me begging the national media. A father of 2. Im pleading at 10:40 on a Tuesday. When you talk about the worst front offices and ownership groups in baseball, please please please acknowledge the Cincinnati Reds in the conversation.
