It is very rare to receive fresh vegetables in prison. So what we do is plant "secret gardens" around the prison. Along a baseball diamond fence. Makeshift pottery in our cells. Small batches of mint or peppers. If found the officers uprooted them & destroyed it. We just replant.
People in TOCI were just denied when asked to be tested after going to medical but had no problem sending them to quarantine.
Why was there little testing available in CA prisons? "a health-policy expert at Cal learnt that the prison relied on one clinical corporation, Quest Diagnostics, for testing because its software for health records interfaces directly with the prison’s" nature.com/articles/d4158…
