किसी स्त्री को नज़रअंदाज़ करना उसे तुम्हारे बिना जीना सिखा देता है।" मर्द सोचते हैं कि अगर वो खामोश हो जाएं, दूरी बना लें, या ध्यान न दें तो शायद कोई रहस्य बना रहेगा, उन्हें लगता है कि वो स्त्री फोन के पास बैठी होगी, इंतज़ार में, उम्मीद में, टूटती हुई लेकिन हकीकत ........
सबसे दुखद बात ये है तुम समझते रहे कि वो टूट रही है, जबकि असल में….वो खुद को जोड़ रही थी। वो मजबूत हो रही थी। वो सीख रही थी कि एक ज़िंदगी तुम्हारे बिना भी हो सकती है जहाँ तुम्हारी कोई जगह नहीं। इसलिए संभल कर रहो— जिस स्त्री को तुम आज नज़रअंदाज़ कर रहे हो, 
वो उम्मीद करना बंद कर चुकी होगी। वो अब तुम्हारी नहीं रही होगी। किसी ऐसी स्त्री को नज़रअंदाज़ करना जो तुमसे प्यार करती है ये तुम्हारी ताकत नहीं है। बल्कि उसकी मुक्ति की शुरुआत है। क्योंकि प्यार खामोशी में नहीं पलता। दूरी में नहीं बढ़ता उपेक्षा में नहीं टिकता। और
में वो हर बात को दोहराएगी, खुद को दोष देगी, ज़्यादा कोशिश करेगी, पहले मैसेज करेगी। मगर फिर…. एक पल आएगा। जब उसकी कोशिशें धीमी हो जाएंगी। उसके मैसेज आना बंद हो जाएंगे। उसका दिल कठोर हो जाएगा। और जब तक तुम्हें उसकी कमी महसूस हो, वो इंतज़ार करना छोड़ चुकी होगी।
कर सकती है तुम्हें पकड़े रहने की ज़रूरत नहीं। कि वो फिर से मुस्कुरा सकती है, भले ही स्क्रीन पर तुम्हारा नाम न उभरे। मर्द ये नहीं समझते एक स्त्री किसी को छोड़ती नहीं है। वो धीरे-धीरे, चुपचाप "अनलर्न" करती है। न गुस्से से, न भीख माँगकर, न आँसुओं से… बल्कि स्वीकार करके शुरू
ये है हर वो घंटा जब तुम उसे नज़रअंदाज़ करते हो, वो खुद को तुम्हारे बिना ढाल रही होती है। हर अनसुनी कॉल, हर ठंडा जवाब, हर छूटी हुई बात वो सब उसे सिखा रहे होते हैं…. कि वो बिना तुम्हारी आवाज़ के सो सकती है। कि उसकी दुनिया तुम्हारी दूरी से खत्म नहीं होती। कि वो खुद पर भरोसा
