Because Florida passed a law making it illegal for kids to learn about systemic racism, intersectionality & queer people in their public schools, @CollegeBoard is going to change their AP African American Studies course for the entire country?Y’all see where this is going, right?

the policy didnt just tread on the rights of our children to define and refine their speech (that we have the freedom to... right?) it kinda like stomped them in. the kids cant do ANYTHING until its allowed or they turn 18? we have self agency and autonomy before 18 months old😭

I literally just lost a client for similar reasons. Spec kids NEED support, families NEED training and they are being failed by insurance CONSISTENTLY. I praise all the families trying to bare with it because you're doing the right thing! Insurance is FUCKED

For 7 months @Cigna hasn't reimbursed routine therapy for my son who has special needs. For 7 months, they have stonewalled me about why, even though the therapy is clearly covered in my policy. For 7 months, I have sat on hold, shuttled from operator to operator. At my wit's end

Deleted my tweet. I was so lost and why you would need tampons in a men’s bathroom. Now I get it. Trans men still have periods.

the mouthy teenage girl in a video being shared and mocked by adults, reminds me of a girl I taught years ago who was rude, belligerent, and obnoxious, until she was none of those things once a grown up was kind to her, and created space to listen to her serious problems.

Very nice explanation from @halalSG for not halal labeled food.

"Ih, kamu kok minum Mixue??? Itu kan belum ada sertifikat halalnya!" Belum ada stempel halal dari MUI nggak serta-merta bikin makanan atau minuman jadi haram, Bestie. Pecel lele langgananmu itu aja lho nggak ada label halalnya. #TerminalMojok mojok.co/terminal/lagia…

She actually started off by trying to protect this man. And he was confident enough to not stfu and be grateful, and instead choose to vilify her and rely on this deeply misogynistic society. And he had huge support. This world terrifies me but in this moment, I am happy.

Don’t forget that Megan Thee Stallion was shot, went through unimaginable pain and fear that night, may have have bullet fragments in her feet for the rest of her life and STILL people chose to harass and villainize her. PROTECT victims. BELIEVE victims.
