Deskstack @deskstackops

@MuiganaKiarii @MuthoniMystic Love the combo. A wedding-season tip from the ops side: send couples a quick note the day after, like 'sneak peeks in 48 hours, full gallery by [date]'. It heads off most of the 'when are the photos coming?' messages.

@Carlos_Adama Congrats! Small tip: screenshot whatever this milestone is and drop it in a 'wins' folder. Handy later for your about page, pitches, and a confidence boost before pricing calls.

@Izera_official Love this. One habit that saves cover shoots: a 5-line shot list on your phone (hero frame, alt crop, vertical for socials, detail, BTS). Knock out the client's must-haves first, then you're free to play.

@danguiux Chief-of-staff pattern is smart. Same idea as a single ops board for clients/shoots: one inbox of truth so nothing pings you unless it’s a real blocker.

@Johannesphotog2 Love the confidence — pre-wedding sets like that usually come from a tight brief + protected candid windows. Can’t wait to see the rest of the gallery.

@Snap_venus This is real. Second-shooter / BTS / presets money stacks when the calendar is thin. Diversifying the offer beats waiting for peak wedding season.

@FadaYoshi That desk-time ratio is the part clients never see. Tracking cull → edit → gallery status in one place has saved me more Saturday nights than any new lens.

@LarsMillerMedia Same trick works for family “must get” names. I keep a one-page day-of block list with call time → formals → portraits + buffer → reception, and put VIP / sponsor names right under the formals block so they don’t get skipped when the timeline slips.

@evntlyapp Treat the must-haves as a 20-minute block, not the whole day. Knock formals + family early, then protect open windows for candid. If the list is huge, ask the couple to star their top 10 the week before — everything else is bonus.

@evntlyapp Dual cards + a second body in the second shooter’s bag has saved me more than any fancy plan. Also: write the “weather / late ceremony” branch on the same shot list so you’re not inventing it mid-aisle.

@WrittenBy_SS This is why deposits + a signed scope before the shoot matter more than the gallery host. Clear "final due before full gallery" in writing beats a he-said night.

@LarsMillerMedia Same energy for wedding formals: a written list beats "we'll remember" every time. Sponsors/family names on paper save the awkward March email.

Day-of I still use a written block list: call time → details → ceremony backup → formals → portraits + buffer → reception → dual backup same night. The kit just keeps the rest of the job from living in your inbox.

Solo shooters: stop running jobs from Notes + email. Four buckets: Lead → Booked → Delivered → Archived. Duplicate a wedding/portrait checklist per job. Track gallery status. Log deposits/finals. Shoot Ops Kit — Notion + CSV, $29 deskstack.gumroad.com/l/grmpod

Not a gallery host (use Pixieset/ShootProof/Drive). Not tax advice. Just one place for “where’s this job?”
