Back from an incredible week in Croatia with the Circle team. The scale of this offsite was bitter sweet: On the one hand, it was our largest one ever by far with 230+ folks attending. On the other hand, there were way too many people for all of us to meet and greet personally. As the company scales, this is getting harder - and it’s especially hard for me since I prefer deeper convos over superficial hellos 😅 All that said, the thing that bowled me over was the sincerity and the spiritedness of the team members I did get to chat with, especially some of the newer ones. People at Circle really want Circle to win. They truly believe we can achieve anything we set our sights to. As we expand our horizon from communities to digital businesses, the confidence to achieve an outcome with 100x upside of our original vision is priceless. Now time to go heads down again and execute!!!
Just wrapped up our 10th offsite in France, with a full buyout of Chateau Le Grand Mello split into two amazing weeks. Highlights: two epic sunset walks, a bonfire, a dungeon, workshops, karaoke, A+ conversations, and a freaking Castle all to ourselves. Heard countless times:
