Since March 2020 I’ve been hiding at home and avoiding contact, even online. Took up meditation and studied courses on emotions, communication, psychotherapy. Feeling reborn. This month I’ve been coming out of hiding, talking to people, and using my computer again. #Mentalhealth

As much as I love oranges, at no point in my life have I ever said “I want an orangeade”. Duolingo is weird because the flavour of English it’s teaching in is never clear.

So, another part of my new 🐞entomology technician job involves meticulously scanning myriad, tiny specks to identify grain insects.🔬 Today I looked at bugs for 7 hours before coming home—now my brain screams 🚨BUG🚨 at anything vaguely bug-like in appearance. 🤔

Tried my hand at R today. Not normally my cup of tea, but some cursory skills in R help at work. Mostly it just makes me more interested in trying NumPy and SciPy (because, you know, Python). I’ll see, though—maybe RStudio is really rad, or something.
