US energy company execs have resigned in disgust as the Trump family is caught secretly expediting the funneling of $25 billion from a sanctioned Russian energy giant in exchange for allowing Russians to obtain a natural gas project in Alaska. According to investigations by The New York Times and Financial Times, Russia's Novatek allegedly concealed its financial involvement in the American project through a UAE-linked intermediary. Gentry Beach, a longtime Trump ally and close friend of Donald Trump Jr., signed an agreement with Novatek to pursue natural gas development in Alaska. Reuters documented the arrangement in February. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin discussed this cooperation on the Alaska energy project with Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during negotiations involving Russia and Ukraine. The controversy deepened when Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, raised concerns about concealed Russian financing and possible sanctions violations. He departed in September, followed by other senior executives. The Financial Times also described discussions about a potential arrangement under which Novatek would provide technology for the Alaska project in exchange for sanctions relief benefiting its Arctic LNG 2 development in Siberia. According to The New York Times, Riddle and two other departing executives warned the Trump administration about the Russian financing and urged officials to investigate. The White House maintains that the project was mentioned only briefly and that no detailed discussions took place. There is no established evidence that Kushner or Witkoff knew about the allegedly concealed financing. Polar Train LNG denies wrongdoing. The central question is how a sanctioned Russian energy company became involved in a major American energy venture while Putin was discussing potential economic cooperation with Trump's representatives and a longtime Trump family associate was pursuing a separate agreement with the same Russian company. Selling Alaska to the Russians or selling Ukraine to the Russians - to the Trump family it's all the same. ft.com/content/e9cfbf…

The @GOP must be thrilled that 11 days before elections, we learn that the Trump family secretly orchestrated a deal to allow Russians to drill Alaska in exchange for a $25 billion "investment" funneled through their proxies.

And another. Trump isn’t just betraying Ukraine to the Kremlin, he’s selling out America too.

Tomorrow, will be a day of celebration when the NDP wins the BC election where people have better services and more hospital housing seniors get free bus pass so I would suggest that seniors come out and vote NDP/NPD bcndp.ca

Lorne Doerkson has refused to rule out appointing Anna Kindy, the BC Conservatives’ health critic, as his health minister. Kindy has said natural immunity is “superior to vaccines,” according to Black Press. /2

A nightmare is going to descend on our Beautiful BC if the Conservative party wins Government- Do not vote Conservative - buyer beware - they have told us who they are (bigots, racist, etc), and they are hiding in plain sight behind the sheeps clothing of @LDoerkson #VoteNDP

When BC (and all) Cons show you who they are, believe them: • in favour of slavery • eugenics is desirable • homosexuality is a disease The receipts in this thread:

This is a harbinger of things to come – not only is BC Conservative Party interim leader Lorne Doerkson avoiding media on election night, ⚠️ but some of his candidates are saying they won’t be available at all to comment! 😳#bcpoli #vanpoli

For whatever reason, the Conservative Party of BC is keeping media at arm’s length on election night in B.C. OPINION: No-coverage request from one local candidate. Really? surreynowleader.com/2026/10/22/opi…

Eby says he regrets not properly informing British Columbians from the jump why he called a snap election: “I should have done a better job of letting them know how stalled out the legislature was.”

BREAKING: Donald Trump just announced that he is planning to sue to try and stop Alaska from certifying their election results should Mary Peltola win. He is laying the groundwork for delegitimizing the midterm elections because he knows he's losing. This has to be stopped.

Please everyone, for the need for love of a humane government, please don’t let the BC Cons win. Doerkson is not benign, he is just a front until someone far more dangerous will be leader. BCLibs redux only far more right wing. Have a conscience and vote NDP.

@realtintie4 I'm genuinely scared, Cynthia. I've been on disability long enough to know what it felt like when the BCLibCons left rates frozen for so long. The NDP has given us increases but we were under a $1000 a month in 2017 before they took office. I don't think most people knew that.

Surprise surprise. BC, this is full on MapleMAGA on our doorstop. You think you’re voting for Doerkson but your vote will go to this homophobic racist. Bait and switch by the BC Cons. Don’t let these wolves in.

And there you have it, Aaron Gunn will run to replace Lorne Doerkson. Aaron has even advised his federal riding assoc he plans to step down now that the Liberals have a safe majority to run as leader of the BC Cons. nanaimonewsnow.com/2026/10/23/cou…

BC Conservatives stumble into the election amid leadership turmoil, alleged financing violations, a $122,043 job-for-seat offer, surveillance of critics, Hitler apologia, residential school denialism and reported Alberta separatist links. #bcpoli #cdnpoli x.com/i/article/2113…

BREAKING: Trump has just preemptively filed a lawsuit seeking to block certification of Alaska's US Senate election if the Republican incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan loses. It’s happening folks! Trump is once again trying to overturn the results of an election before it even takes place.

When they searched Ilhan Omar's house, they seized her passport. That means she has a passport. To receive a passport, she would have to show her Certificate of Naturalization. If she has a certificate of naturalization, she was a naturalized citizen. This ain't hard.

The speed limits on Starlink and Starshield are still there. The speed has not been restored. And the delivery of interceptors to protect us against Russian ballistic missiles is still delayed. We’re waiting for interceptors that were already agreed on. But they are still not coming. This is a real problem, because the Russians attack us almost every single day. All of this is happening while we continue our quite successful operations on the front. We keep defending positions. Things have become harder – partly because of the Starlink and Starshield policies and speed limits. But our frontline is still holding and I am proud of how strong our people are. SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS GROCERY EXECUTIVES, BUT I’M DONE. I just pulled a $4.99 box of cereal off the shelf, brought it to the register, and watched the scanner ring it up as $7.49. When I told the cashier, she said: "Oh, that’s the digital coupon price. You have to download our store app, create an account, search for the item, and clip the digital coupon before scanning." ABSOLUTELY NOT. You inflated the shelf price by 50%, locked the normal price behind an app, and forced me to hand over my personal phone data and email just to pay the actual retail value of a box of food? Stop hiding basic shelf pricing behind data-harvesting apps.

Hey BC: do you remember WHY the NDP was originally elected? TO GET RID OF CHRISTY CLARK. NDP has spent years rebuilding BC from those years of cuts. Clark was THE most destructive Prier in BC history. She’s back. With the Conservatives. VOTE SMART. VOTE NDP.

Don’t open the gates to Conservative cuts, costs and extremists. Tomorrow, every vote counts and I’m asking for yours. Our team will fight every single day for you and your family.

Since christy clark has finally shown us her true colours by coming out to support the BC Cons, here's a reminder of what this fraud did in BC. pressprogress.ca/here_are_41_of…

Seriously BC voters, don't let irritation with the NDP make you cut off your nose to spite your face. The BC Conservatives are feral and sitting out this election out of pique is a decision you will come to regret.
