Writers can submit 3-5 samples and each sample can be anywhere around 1k-3k words just to get a feel for what your writing style is!
Yes, each writer will definitely be working alongside the card artists so the artwork can seamlessly blend into the guide for the basic meanings of each card!
We are going for writing that focuses on symbolism and vivid characterization; samples don’t need to be long as the initial guidebook will not have more than a few sentences per card; the more info you can get across in a few concise sentences/one paragraph the better
Like the other mod roles, we will ask for experience! In this case, mainly in tarot meanings and reading/familiarity/confidence in understanding of the arcanas.

Yes, we will be sending emails out to everyone who will apply in the future and discord will be our main project platform once mods and contributors have joined the project.
This will depend on the location of the shipping mod. If they are located in the USA, sending outbound packages domestically/overseas will be easier than sending inbound packages to the US from overseas. Further details will be discussed with the future mods & communicated here!
We want the style of each card to be illustrative rather than minimalistic, so character/s within backgrounds will be a factor in selecting artists! The mods will give artists the chance to pick their top cards to illustrate and then will assign from there.
Traditional art is completely fine, so long as the artist has the proper tools to scan/provide a high quality picture of the artwork for final submission!
As a merch artist, prior is experience is a plus but not necessary! We would be providing all the info for file specs and the merch mod will be your main source for guidance. Main thing we will be looking for is how your art will fit with the project!
