Dan M.T Slatter @dmts

@nicalpi @jonathandavies @heroku Similar situation here! Planning our full migration to @render in the coming days and weeks. Heroku have been aggressively trying to tie us in to long terms contracts and up front payments recently. Worrying stuff. Time to go!

@RobLMyers Bit of both I suspect. Another one desperate to see Lewis lose. I wonder why?!

@SangitaMyska Biden's legacy was on very thin ice as it was given his blind support for Isreal, but most worryingly he's effectively just given Trump a free & unquestionable carte blanche to grant immunity for anything he sees fit in almost any situation. The US is in serious trouble now.

@gioalesi I hope he feels the love and carries that incredible attitude next year in to a season where he will actually have the support of a real team, not the mental abuse and blatant sabotage he’s endured for the last 9 months

@EdKrassen So is technical neutrality and content serving algorithms that aren’t weighted towards a political objective. That’s why conversations are hard on X. Created a Bluesky account yesterday, giving myself 2 weeks to crossover

@aaron59119 @JoeyMannarinoUS @nickdixoncomic Leftist because I disagree with someone overtly on the right? All of us are more subtle than that sir, I was just calling out the over generalisation. Happy to discuss rather than throw mud though man 🙏

@JoeyMannarinoUS @nickdixoncomic Did it occur to you that "everyone" you know in Italy might be a self selecting sample of opinion based on who you surround yourself with?

What an insightful and welcoming attitude to discuss the free expression of those that don't agree with your world view. 🤦‍♂️ Tell me exactly what is "communist" about freely choosing to support the candidate that represents their personal belief structure? Also, tell me which one of those countries above is currently a communist regime?

@RobLMyers Toto said he thought they'd struggle this weekend didn't he! 🙁

Let's suppose that across those 72 employees they (on average) represent the average UK wage of ~£36k, that's a £2.6m annual payroll NET (or just over £3m inc. NI & mandatory pension contributions). Let's imagine the company have very little margin and turnover just £3.25m (unlikely to be that tight even for a services business), at £82k as a proportion of turnover this would be around just 2% of of their total output, and well within the standard deviation of any normal business cost base in a given year. To say that this would stall recruitment or lead to cuts therefore is just disingenuous at this scale of business. If 3/4 of the £40bn of new tax revenue created goes to better the health and education of the nation (as is suggested) then the long term prospect of the UK improves greatly. Honestly, too many in this country (on all political sides) have lost any sense of collective responsibility for society, and don't think that fixing things is their job. It's ALL of our responsibilities, and as a small business owner myself I'm happy to pay that uplift as an investment in my own country's societal and economic future. Individualism vs. Collectivism, I know which future UK I want for my family.

@Scaramucci I hope you're right @Scaramucci, but perhaps like a wounded animal, Trumpism is at its most dangerous and unpredictable just before it dies. I hope with all that is good that Tuesday passes peacefully, but I suspect it will not be without some tumult!

@TheBlueDodger Yeah, shocking mate. Clueless at the back. Running nowhere up top. Enzo looking like he’s in a practice match

@SkyHelpTeam DUG1 again. Disgraceful. It’s it any wonder people get moody fire sticks and watch without paying, when the premium service available in the UK is this expensive and poor

@skytv incredibly poor show on the red button again tonight for the league cup games. “DUG1” errors up and down the country. Sort it out! We all pay too much for too little already.

@MatthewStadlen Wailing, whining and the terrifying incitement of violence no doubt! I hope they lose obviously but am terrified of the short term consequences of their anger in the short term afterwards!

@RobLMyers Fair play to Karun there though, he kept the questions spikey and direct. Not letting Horner off the hook

@RobLMyers They couldn't have made it more obvious how close the @fia and #RedBullCheats are. The favour is now undeniable, the facts are clear and the collusion is obvious. #F1xed can trend all over again. At least people like Toto, Zak & Jenson are calling it out loudly now.

@RobLMyers His rubber’s cooked… again 🤷‍♂️

@RichardJMurphy All the while, there is another big pharmaceutical company extracting billions of tax payer pounds to provide it. Follow the money trail, it will ALWAYS uncover the truth

@MartinSLewis Directors of small businesses with a handful of employees are still very much working people not this simplistic trope of greedy oligarchs. This just affects our ability to innovate and invest in ourselves, or add another employee to the team.
