Pilots fly along an iso-barometric plane (fixed pressure) to maintain constant altitude. So they are required to maintain this fixed pressure, adjusting their altitude, to stay at a constant pressure and therefore altitude. So if the Earth is round or flat, this is a poor argument to prove shape. Better to stick to line af sight and shadow-casting to conclusively show flatness.
