I really couldn't care less how cheerfully or humbly Matt Hancock eats a camel's penis. Nurses in my hospital died of the Covid they caught there, thanks to inadequate PPE. He authorised sending residents back to care homes when we knew they had Covid. He's never apologised.
@doctor_oxford I had four people in 12 hours die of covid in our care home - we were told PPE redirected to NHS so had none initially. The worst of times ever and denied by Hancock. People have short memories and for him to be final 3 is gutting
@doctor_oxford He was acting in the advice of medical professionals and scientists. Is it really his fault?
@doctor_oxford Remember when Matt Hancock gave his mate, a pub landlord with no previous experience making medical supplies, a £30 million pound government Covid contract to produce vials for testing kits? He just gave it to him after getting a WhatsApp. Remember that? Because we do.
@doctor_oxford As a Repertory Surgeon studying and treating COVID since 2018, would state from the trust I work for not one single nurse died of COVID or went short on PPE only two items we were short of was Oxygen & Body Bags you didnt moan about the 70 tons stolen by Macron a the boarder
@doctor_oxford Your hospital is to blame for not planning and organising adequate PPE ! It’s not down to the government to hold the hand of your CEO 🤷🏻♂️
@doctor_oxford Imo this inane programme trivialises everybody and everything it comes into contact with.
@doctor_oxford He won’t & he can’t - it’d be corporate manslaughter if he did. hse.gov.uk/corpmanslaught… Nobody has the balls to prosecute.
@doctor_oxford In December 2019 did you by any chance think to yourself “I predict we’re going to need a huge amount of PPE come February”? If you did, what did you do? Who did you tell? What was their response? Did any procurement Director of any NHS trust predict it? I’m genuinely interested
