Call to balloon times for heart attacks are as close to a direct marker of prognosis to anything in Medicine. This worsening is an outrage. We cannot just accept this. Are we going to be the generation that deliver worse worsening cardiovascular outcomes. @NHSEngland #ashamed

And we have gone live with the PIFU, Remote monitoring and Virtual Ward pathway at @GSTTnhs with @Ortus_iHealth for cardiac patients with Long QT syndrome. Patients submitting symptoms, Questionnaires (with algorithm based triggers) and ECGs with @AliveCorUK integration!

Remote monitoring and therefore ‘virtual wards’ for aortic dissection is very cool. Love the idea of being able to ‘stalk’ our patients BPs regularly and give timely interventions. This will save lives! @AorticDissectCT @AorticDissectUK bravo @NHSBartsHealth @BartsAorta team 👏
