@picardonhealth @berthagarcia5 It is a myth that Canada’s Health Care system is universal. Doctors and hospitals are funded universally; all else is a mixed bag of public and private. PS: it is also a myth that our health care is a “system”.

@picardonhealth I have practiced medicine on FFS, on contract and as a salaried employee. Each has its advantages, efficiencies, drivers and perverse incentives. There is no one “right” way to pay docs. Form (payment method) should follow function (model of care), not the other way round.
