You see how fast Nick Saban was replaced? Let that sink in…
@drgabewillis From my POV as a Faculty Athletics Representative, the university/FB program needed to have a HC in place immediately to accommodate student athletes transferring in to that institution. Spring semester began on the 10th and the 17th is the last day to late add for classes.
@drgabewillis Similarly, both the schools where I was principal continue to operate and doing great(er) things long, long after any influence I had on them is gone😀
@drgabewillis Yup. Everything continues to move on time.
@drgabewillis The job was filled. Saban has not been replaced. It’s a difference homie. Saban might have a statue round that joint soon
@drgabewillis One one hand you are right…no one is irreplaceable on the other hand it shows the athletic department knew he wouldn’t be there forever and had a plan in place
@drgabewillis There are reasons for how fast a new coach was put in place. Everything has to do with the student-athletes in the program, transfer portal and recruited players.
@drgabewillis What point are you making exactly? It’s not like the NFL where there’s enough time for several interviews. In college with recruiting and the portal they got to be quick
@drgabewillis Say it louder for the people in the back
