Our new research has found typical Australian grain-fed beef production systems contribute almost twice the human-edible protein they consume, while grass-fed systems produce almost 1600 times. csiro.au/en/news/News-r…
@drsplace @HushtonBlock I think that the NPC metric (which contributes to the food vs feed discussion) could be extended to better consider whether the food is being used in human diets. Whether food crops could be viably grown on the land used is another part of this.
@HoolyMcg I haven’t seen one with tin sheets between frames like that, generally flip right back against the drum wall. Maybe they can pack a few more in that way.
