Why should employees at recently acquired video game companies be excited? "Microsoft gives their engineers the equivalent of a new Mazda every year, or a new BMW if you’re a senior engineer." bit.ly/3shdX0N

@TabletopInq And there’s Angron in the corner hammering six inch spikes through a board.

@Alphastream Stats on dire flumph, please.

@Ushimimi @ChrisPerkinsDnD You don’t need permission from anyone to add antlers to a centaur.

Just watched #JungleCruise and enjoyed it. But it could have used a better title. Suggestions: Hobbs & Poppins Snakes on a Dwayne

@MatthewJKaras1 @SlyFlourish I was just playing with graphviz for work purposes this week. Nice to see it used for something worthwhile, like games.

4/5 Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson The grand-daddy of the cyberpunk genre. Read this if you want to see where the western world got its inspiration for everything from Shadowrun to the Matrix Movies.

3/5 Cyber Shogun Revolution by Peter Tieryas Unfortunately, this book leaves out a lot of what made the previous books so great. Though it still reads like an anime spilled its guts across the pages, there are fewer characters and less robot-on-robot action.

5/5 Rogue Protocol by Martha Wells. Our favorite SecUnit continues to struggle to interact with (stupid) humans and must decide what it truly wants out of the life it has secured for itself.

4/5 Perdido Street Station by China Mieville is a magic-fueled steampunk adventure. It's weird but so internally consistent that you'll feel like you've known the world for years.

4/5 Peter Tieryas' Mecha Samurai Empire answers the question of what would happen if you drained the blood from an anime and used it as ink to write a novel.

4/5 Stars for Artificial Condition by Martha Wells. Murderbot returns and learns that a life of freedom often means making uncomfortable choices. And military grade violent episodes. And of course, dealing with stupid humans.

Todd McAultys "Robots of Gotham" is like if James Bond had a day job and worked out of a Chicago hotel room. In his off hours he'd fight Goldfinger, who happens to be a robot that is also a country.
