This is rich. Oct 2009. In the run-up to the Obama admin's attempt to boot Fox News from pool coverage, the groundwork was being laid. Obama operative David Axelrod tells fmr. Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos how -- unlike George and ABC News -- Fox isn't a legitimate news source. "The bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way, and we're not going to treat them that way." So Clinton guy George Stephanopoulos and ABC are real news sources, but Fox isn't. Rich. Just a few days after this show, the Obama admin attempted to boot Fox News from pool coverage.
