If we are persisting with something that we find stressful or draining, we need to ask ourselves why we are doing it. If the answer is guilt, fear, apathy, or stubborn pride, it's time to make a change. None of those are good reasons to make ourselves exhausted or stressed.

Injured myself recently due to not paying full attention to what I was doing. But I have also learned the same thing applies across many areas of life, including relationships and work. If we aren't being present,there will eventually be pain.
If you're like me, when you experience a setback, your first instinct is to make it right ASAP so you can get back to feeling comfortable. I've had to learn that sometimes you have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable for a while and ride out the storm.
When I keep having the same problem over and over again, usually the problem turns out to be me.
