I found the best video game movie. It's "Hundreds of Beavers." It's not based on a game, but it plays out like a survival game/platformer.
Haven't started Jedi Survivor yet. Might do a 2-3 hour stream some time this week of it where I talk about the gameplay, tech, design etc live as I experience it. DF are pixel counters, but I'd like to talk about how you actually build these worlds.
The high price of games got you down? Today I'm announcing that all DVG games present and future will be $5 (or less). I'll be changing all store prices (in the next couple of weeks) for all current games to $5 and all future titles will also be $5.
I love Yellowstone, such a great show, but they've completely botched it behind the scenes. If season 5 part 2 ever comes out it will be the end of the show and Kevin Costner won't be in it. Already rolling my eyes at the off screen death that's going to happen.
I didn't buy Jedi Survivor because I knew it would eventually come to Game Pass. I haven't bought Infinite Wealth because it might come to Game Pass. If not, I'll get it in 6 months for $20. I'm not the only one. This is a problem with the Xbox economy.
I got Sonic 2 as the best video game movie by a landslide. It was just a lot of fun and did everything it needed to do. For what it was, it was pretty much perfect. It's amazing how far we came since blue meth monkey Sonic.
Anyone know if you can turn off mods updating in an Ark Ascended windows server? It takes an insanely long time to update mods when playing, and these get updated so often I'm pretty tired of doing it every day

Is it weird that I still think Rings of Power on the MD/Genesis is @Naughty_Dog 's best game? It kept me at home (and out of trouble) as a teenager.
I played Fallout 76 a few years ago. It didn't really grab me at the time. Felt like i was just walking around doing nothing interesting. Should I give it another go?

The most disturbing part of Baby Reindeer is how bad the guy's standup comedy is.
MS pays out devs even if they only made a few bucks. Nintendo and Steam (not sure about Sony) require you to go above a $100 monthly threshold. This means they might be sitting on tens of millions of dollars that devs made that they're keeping. Tons of games never reach $100.
Tried to get back into DD2. I don't know that I can. It's just such a tedious game. Walking the same 2 or 3 paths over and over again trying to find a quest that's vague. Even trying to find yourself on the map because your arrow blends in with the map design is a pain.
They built Ark Ascended off of a demo project in Unreal Engine and didn't even change the name of it.
