Scaling📈 @ecomnotes_

Call with my mentor today. My take: ads were fine, checkout was the problem. His take: weak checkout completion is usually an ad problem. If the ad hasn't fully sold them, they bail at the card details. Benchmark he uses: about 50% of people who reach checkout should complete it. So I'm fixing the ads, not the checkout.

@juansbiz It changed slightly but still improving checkout further

Day 16 of locking in for Q4 Todays funnel: 80 sessions 9 add to carts 8 reached checkout 2 orders Conversion rate up 173% on the day before. But 8 people got to checkout and only 2 paid. That's still the leak. Today I'm stripping clutter out of the checkout and making the order summary show exactly what people are getting.

@JacobCanfield Hows this even possible

@juansbiz No moved to pdp

@xelacsecom Sent dm bro

Ads are bringing people in. 6.4% are adding to cart. 8 people hit checkout. Only 1 paid. Either the checkout is still leaking or the product just isn't hitting for this market. Need to figure out which before I spend more.

@DerRobertsEcom Potentially, have to look in to that

@EcomMexico True but It spent 400 usd over 8 days so, that's why um nervous

@MorrowFunnels To be honest it use to say shipping now moved shipping completely from checkout to pdp

Last week my store had one clear problem: people reached checkout and left. So I changed 3 things: Translated the checkout into the countries language Cut the repeated delivery time mentions Sent Meta traffic to a listicle pre-lander instead of straight to the product page First numbers after relaunch: 75 sessions 6 add to carts 6 reached checkout 1 sale Every person who added to cart went to checkout. The leak has moved. Now it’s checkout to purchase. Fixing that next.

Day 15 of locking in for Q4: Yesterday's numbers on my store: 109 sessions (+28%) 7 add to carts 8 reached checkout 1 sale 0.91% CR. Traffic is up but something doesn't look right.

Day 15 of locking in for Q4 Day 3 since relaunch 75 visitors 6 added to cart 6 reached checkout 1 bought Last time, 11 people reached checkout and 10 of them left. This time every single cart made it to checkout. The cart rebuild worked. Checkout still leaks.

@xelacsecom 😂😂😂

@Nordlyte_studio Just purchases to be honest atc to checkout was not the issue

75 sessions. 1 sale. 1.33% conversion rate. Most people would screenshot the +436% sessions and stop there. Here’s the part that matters: 6 people reached checkout and only 1 paid. That’s an 83% drop at the final step. The listicle fixed the top of the funnel. It didn’t fix the bottom. 75 sessions isn’t proof of anything yet. It’s a direction. Next: shipping clarity, trust badges at checkout, payment options. Small sample. Clear signal. Keep testing.

Cold Meta traffic straight to a product page is like asking a stranger to buy before saying hello. I added a listicle pre-lander between the ad and the PDP. It does 3 jobs: • Explains the problem • Handles objections before they come up • Hands a warmed up visitor to the product page Result so far: 8% add to cart rate on cold traffic 100% of carts moved to checkout The product didn’t change. The order people saw it in did.

@xelacsecom Appreciate it bro, your also killing it, see u at the top!

Day 13 of locking in for Q4: Spent $250 on Meta ads. Made $50 back. Mentor said turn it off. Today we found out why. CTR: good Add to cart: good Atc to checkout: good Checkout to purchase: awful The ads were never the problem. The checkout was.

@george4badas ive added urgency, added lsitcle gonna see what happens

@cmoinywa cart and checkout page problem, cart no urgency and checkout no trust
