Why wouldn’t Tesla enable their ride-hailing app right now giving option for passengers to choose whether they want to try out the supervised FSD experience? I am an experienced FSD user and would love to give people rides and discuss with them the benefits of the system, educate the public in general and most important get real-time comfort feedback from the passengers. Is it a liability thing? Or something else? @elonmusk @tesla_ai @tezmeeinc
@edgecase411 Yes, they should enable this before full robotaxi. Pay drivers 10% more than Uber. Charge riders 10% less. Drivers will buy more Teslas because it's more profitable. When FSD is perfected, the drivers can stay home and still earn money.
@edgecase411 Several reasons and they are all feature related. Just imagine what Uber does and what laws the drivers break. Yeah, it's quite a bit. Tesla can't do that. So it needs to go the path of Waymo/Cruise and pull over legally and handle remote takeovers quickly.
@edgecase411 how do you know they are not already doing it with some employees?
@edgecase411 Yep. I keep asking this. Very happy the ride Hailing app is featured and in development!! ⚡️⚡️😀
@edgecase411 Would surprise me if they didn't. Gonna' be a while before Tesla offers an autonomous ridehailing service
