@editti22 I did this same thing 25 years ago. At a Portland Sea Dogs game, our Summer Camp went to a game, sat in the outfield and "adopted" the LF. We went nuts for him at bat and in the field. He had no idea who we were but loved it and gave us his bat and gloves after the game.
@editti22 I was there in left field and was confused as hell with how many people were there that day. Their energy and cheering for any little thing Santander did was electric, started making up chants for him and a girl who went out and bought his jersey. Bit of fun during the dark times

@editti22 Too bad the O's aren't playing in London this year. Mets v Phillies will be fun, but Tony Taters in London this year would have been amazing.
