Satoshi Nakamoto envisioned the original protocol to be set in stone, not to ossify a hijacked version based on technocratic manufactured scarcity. Now that the elites and incumbents are involved, the high bar required to make changes is a fatal flaw not a feature. The early hijacking of Bitcoin will be would leads to its ultimate demise. Crypto will flourish. Just as Google surpassed Yahoo!, Excite, Lycos, Alta Visa, Infoseek, and others, the dream a P2P digital cash separate from 3rd party influence will flourish.
