I am more excited for the men's @usopen final today between @BenShelton and @AlexZverev than I am for the start NFL season! It could be the fact that I am a lifelong @nyjets fan, but I hope they prove me wrong this season!

Watched Tiafoe-Shelton match last night and kept thinking about the first post of my Substack. Neither guy got there clean — plenty of missed chances first. Showing up for the next one anyway is the whole game, on the court and off it.
First time back on a real court since the '90s. Missed my first serve by six feet. Laughed anyway. That felt like the actual win.
