Iesus Christos fulfilled the law and the prophets. During the Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appear and are talking with Iesus before the Father tells Peter and John to listen to His beloved Son. The law and the prophets are the two witnesses to the Christos. He is superior!

From a FP point of view, this kinda makes sense too re: 70AD. The temple, the old heaven and earth, the old covenant passed away and 'the devil' was cast into the lake of fire [Gehenna = national judgment]. The accuser was gone and the everlasting New Covenant was in full effect!

1. These prophecies do not mention the words dragon, serpent, devil or Ha Satan. 2. In many English translations, the Hebrew word 'satan' [שָׂטָן] is rendered 'adversary' - e.g. 1 Samuel 29:4 3. Never interpose the words 'devil' or 'Satan' into texts that don't support them.
