Seen something online that got my “inaccurate” geography radar bleeping. Pensby is a place on the Wirral in its own right. It is near Heswall but not in it and certainly not in Birkenhead.

Thoughts on the Rayner story: 1. tax and trusts around property are so complicated even the minister reforming housing gets it wrong. 2. minister got 3 lots of advice but not the right answer, but HMRC website has the answer so maybe she should have just used ChatGPT?

Stuck in a doom loop once again of Recaptcha refusing to believe that I am human. No alternative service to input what I need so I am excluded from a process as a result. Not cool. But also so worn down by this that I will probably go elsewhere rather than complain.

Reading some lengthy online conversations about the NHS App- functionality contested, most people not happy, calls for it to be tailorable all things for all people. Contrasting with the HMRC app, which is one of their tools but not the only front door.

Thing that annoys me about this is it drags out the achingly slow area by area rollout of 20 mph and crowds out other measures to make neighbourhood roads safer, they hardly get considered.

Also some curious points about speed limits. Councillors want lower speeds, some kind of comment from police about hard to enforce, officers say this means “police veto the lower limit”. Could we all seel consensus that reducing limits makes for safer streets?

One question in council meeting about why no cycle parking at Ranmoor Shops. Apparently councillor been trying to get some there for yesrs. Another question about why council meetings don’t have cycle parking. Because there aren't venues with it. Stuck with no progress.
