The $VIX completed a rare "spike and fall" roundtrip today seen only two previous times: (1) after low in 2009 and (2) after low in 2020. Average 1-YR gain in S&P 500 was 33.84%. 1-YR Max Draws -3.36% & -3.75%, meaning some backtracking would be normal. Click image to enlarge.
