@emrazz Uhmm why 30 years? Why do the younger generations have such a hard time with time? I'm headed back to work and I will do just fine following my own advice, always have.
@emrazz I'm a boomer who has to work to survive. Many of us are. We understand your frustration with the system as it exists today.
@emrazz They’d succeed because they understand there’s a world of employment beyond billion dollar corporations that outsource their entire HR department to WorkDay.
@emrazz Considering we've got way more life experience that you lot have, I doubt that would happen. But obviously you already know this as you know everything.
@emrazz The worst advice my parents gave me about applying for a job, was to shave my beard. I have a 100% failure rate for interviews with a naked face, and a 100% success rate for interviews with facial hair. Sample size for failure is larger than the sample size for success.
@emrazz They would get the jobs over the gen x’ers any day. And they wouldn’t whine about it if they didn’t- they’d be too busy interviewing for the next one.
@emrazz what gets me about today's interviewing process is the 7+ person panel, where you have to do 7 + interviews, they record it as so many are on zoom and love having to do a full on case study to fix their companies problems all before you even get the job, interviewing today sucks
