A sad but good day. This is my friend Jim Russell. He, Bruce, and Scotty put in the hvac systems in the game house, wizard house, and the lucky Penny. Jim is the tin man, he did the duct work and it’s gorgeous. The game house has one of the nicest systems I’ve seen in person. He loves his work and tackles the details with love and care. He told me that was one of his favorite jobs. He also cut the ceiling hole for the mini split at the Lucky Penny. It was a very tricky affair and once again he did it with aplomb. Two weeks ago Jim was working, but not feeling well. He’s now in hospice care at home with cancer. He’s one of a ton of wonderful people we’ve met here in West Virginia. Some of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen are here. Jim is one of many reasons we live here now. I promised him I’d be back. I got the biggest smile from him! He had a big affect on my life even if we didn’t spend that much time together. People like Jim are out there doing the work every day, I’m privileged to know some of them. Hug your people.
@energysmartwv Thanks for sharing this, Nate. Here's wishing Jim a full and speedy recovery.
