Hello Chris, thanks for your question. We understand the selected outage date and time may be disruptive. Our team has reviewed alternative scheduling options; however, this outage is required to support critical infrastructure work. As this outage will impact multiple residential and commercial properties, we must carefully balance the needs of all affected customers. Scheduling planned outages on weekends helps reduce impacts to local businesses and minimizes disruption to normal weekday operations. When selecting outage windows, we consider operational requirements as well as customer impacts across the broader community, which is why we have scheduled the outage for the Monday rather than Sunday. We do appreciate the concerns that you have raised and welcome you to speak with our team directly regarding this scheduled outage if you have more questions. You can reach us at 403-51-3990 or by emailing [email protected]
