4 years ago, @ISDAO accused us of fraud but offered only silence when asked for details. They weaponized an ISRS 4400 report as a "forensic audit," hid it from our Board, threatened 48 years in jail. Forced to court, they refuse to state any amount. #NoSilence

This sort of intimidation and practice should be discouraged. The police should not be seen hiding their patrol van just to catch offending motorists. A visible patrol van is important in keeping motorists in check, else it an extortionate practice.

@LagosPoliceNG is it wrong for a citizen to alert motorists not to take one way, whilst police is on active duty? This evening, 4 police officer with the Ejigbo division stationed at Gold St, battered a man simply for warning motorists, and forcefully took him away.

Reno Omokri...the very definition of hypocrisy.

I am chilled to the bones when I see what some of today’s @officialABAT ambassadorial nominees have written and said about him in the past. I am not a political partisan for or against President Tinubu. It’s quite OK to disagree with people politically and even on principle, and

Security is inherently political, but excessive political interference undermines performance. When security institutions are allowed to function with professional autonomy—whether led by civilians or military officers—effectiveness improves.

Nigeria’s core leadership problem is the absence of foresight and continuity. Every successive government tries to discard or outdo the policies of its predecessor—whether good or bad—creating a cycle with no sustained progress. With no continuity, no innovation can take root,

There’s practically no sense in pretending otherwise. World Bank loans are aid disguised as long-term repayments. Nigeria’s national budget still leans heavily on international assistance to stay afloat — whether labelled as grants, concessional credits, or development loans.

America proposed foreign deportee to Nigeria, President Tinubu rejected. America proposed deporting prisoners to Nigeria, Tinubu administration rejected. The United State stopped all aids to Nigeria, Tinubu administration didn’t bother to appeal that, instead they got to work

Let’s not reduce this to a religious debate — that would be both hypocritical and evasive. No faith or culture justifies injustice. A nation that normalizes discrimination and human rights violations cannot claim moral authority when the same system turns against others.

When a society tolerates the abuse of any marginalized group and sees nothing wrong with it, it lays the foundation for widespread human rights violations and impunity. That is exactly what we are witnessing in the current dispensation.

We must tell ourselves the truth. Presidential statements that are debaseful, undiplomatic, and reek of hegemonic arrogance have no place in a globalized world. This is not 1885. Yet, we must also confront the elephant in the room: human rights are interlinked.

I have noted with increasing concern the heightened pronouncements on Nigeria by President Donald Trump. This follows his designation of Nigeria as a “country of particular concern.” It is important to emphasise that our country is a sovereign nation whose people face different
