friday feels: @JoshRamsay drops his new album, and I was nominated for audio engineer of the year in my first year (back) at school. Josh and @mtrench were my inspiration to take a risk and pursue what I loved most. sometimes the stars align. ⭐️ 🎶 💕

@JoshRamsay niiiice. experimenting with mics is the best. put an AKG D112 on a guitar amp the other day, just for fun. surprisingly clean tone for a drum mic.

@JoshRamsay Sweet! The 520DX? I had to Google it, but it looks like it would be pretty fun to mess with for fun lo-fi vocals too.

@JoshRamsay mixing symphony is such a feat. I’m so excited to hear this album. I’m learning mixing in Pro Tools, so seeing your album journey is so rewarding!

@mtrench more hours to obsessively nit-pick the levels on my mix on Pro Tools - hooray!

@jannarden this is my girl, Holly. she passed away two months ago today. I’d like to think she has all the toys she ever dreamed of and more now, though she’s probably still as indecisive. 🐾💜

hey @JoshRamsay - I’m studying music producing and learning how to orchestrate demos. Q: what was the thought process behind adding the panned shakers in the Dir. Cut of “Good to You” v. the album version? dif. rhythm and groove? into it, just curious! 🤗 🎶

@jannarden this is our sweet Holly girl. she was only ours for a year-and-a-half before she left us suddenly in September. she was in a high-kill shelter before she came to Canada and into our home. I like to think she was our earth angel, and is now looking out for us from above. 🐾 💜

@kellyoxford i started by running 1 min and walking 1 min, then gradually increasing the running portion/distance every few wks. the hardest part EVER for me was learning to run 2 minutes straight. 5 years later, i'm running marathons. getting out the door is half the battle. you got this!

@PhilPerkinsCHCH @CHCHNews @CHCHTV I used to drink southern comfort and orange juice in university; safe to say worse combinations than those above have entered my body. I am thrilled to have an appointment for anything that will get me fully vaccinated. anything.
