@panotiller Yeah 30in twin row, had palisade on some definitely helped but still lodged some. Watch lower canopy for disease early spring especially if wet. Lowered pop this year and two n passes planned.

@TrinityCreekR Just getting started with this system but last year they were our most profitable acres. We could net more most years with regular wheat followed by beans but one in three years beans won't make it.Relays also moves bean harvest up so that we can get strips made for corn on time

@Farmerjames10 @TrinityCreekR @panotiller @WheatPete @TimBoring @ConserveSeneca Shift units around to be able to plant twin row wheat. Then lock up rear units and disable meters to plant beans. You need to get combine tire spaced correctly to not take out the beans.

@panotiller @TrinityCreekR @WheatPete @TimBoring @ConserveSeneca I built a center unit for it that row. It is 10ish in all the rest you can get 7 1/2. The four in the center section take bit more work to move the wings can easily be slid. I would like to mount all front units to a separate bar them I just have move that bar and change one unit

@treborfarmer @panotiller @WheatPete @TimBoring @ConserveSeneca Seed right sells them. It works pretty well just divide target pop by how many seeds in each cell and then set that like it would be your bean pop. Much easier than trying to plant by the pound.

@panotiller @WheatPete @TimBoring @ConserveSeneca It works pretty well if rows straight, you much of a contour and you can't keep tractor and planter off wheat.

@TrinityCreekR @panotiller @WheatPete @TimBoring @ConserveSeneca I made brackets to lock up rear units, and in tall wheat I pull closing tail off. Last year wheat was in head until we could get it done.
